Quick survey: who else tends to rush out if the gym the second you finish your workout? Guilty! 🙋🏼‍♂️ . Why do we skip warm ups and cool downs when we're pressed for time? I think it comes down to two things: . 1️⃣ The return on our time investment isn't always immediate or apparent. . 2️⃣ These exercises tend to be so freakin boring! . The first point requires a whole other post, but the second point can be fixed with this sweet ! . Grab a cable and take a page out of @coachazza's book on core exercises. RIPTENSITY APPROVED! @jeremyscottfitness ・・・ Slow Speed 60-30 workout sets each cycle 4 Minutes: The setup ~ Movement 1 - 1 Second Hold Skater Hops 60 Seconds (each rep hold for 1 Second on the landing before moving much harder than it looks to own the hold) - Immediately into Movement 2 -Side to Side Plyo Pushups (hand walk if you can’t Plyo push-up) for 30 seconds then rest for 30 seconds. Movement 3 - Lateral Lunges for 60 seconds. Immediately into Lateral Mt.Climbers for 30 Seconds rest for 30 seconds. That’s 1 can cycle = 4 Minutes 60-30-60-30 - come Complete 2-4 cycles for a great little lateral focused session. Note: many people in their training fail to move enough dynamically or even laterally -my advice throw a few of these moves into your sets or circuits weekly it can be game changer for your body. Fast 💨 4000M ~ The setup: Row 1000M as quick as possible ~ Ski 1000M as quick as possible that’s 1 cycle. Repeat for 2 total cycles and 2000M of rowing and 2000M of skiing = 4000 total meters.
