The importance of flax... Flax is full of omega 3, iron, Vit. B3 and E, calcium and more. It’s an anti-inflammatory, helps with constipation and helps detoxification. I add a heaped teaspoon to my smooth everyday and you can hardly taste it.

My husband is getting sick and selfishly I need him to get better quickly as I don't have any other support with the kids so my toddler and I made this super smoothie/acai bowl. Plus I had a load of fruit to use up. We put in: 1 apple 1 pear 1 ripe banana 1 carrot 5 strawberries Handful of baby kale Thumb of fresh tumeric 3 tablespoons of acai Cup of oat milk 2 dates for tiny bit of sweetness. My youngest had a few teaspoons but he had mashed avocado and banana for his breakfast which he loves. #glutenfree
