I wanted to share this because it has to be the most comprehensive yet simple approach to screening that I have seen.I have taken many systems (FRC, NKT, DNS, PRI, FMS) and initially found it extremely confusing to figure out how we fit these things together.I called it screening shock and it is something I see a lot of great trainers and coaches go through. But what I have found is that these are all amazing tools that can be placed in or out based upon the individual.Individual is a keyword because they are the determining factor in what we do. Rather than throwing hundreds of Assessments at someone, we decide what is most important based upon their needs, activities and what we see in front of us.To put this into context, here is the step by step process to develop a screening tool recommended by Sports Physio David Joyce:1. Develop a generic index of risks related to a sport or activity2. Determine inidividual risk factors based upon previous history3. Select appropriate assessments4. Profile movement6.
