Happy birthday to my nephew my little angel. His first year was a bless for me and all my family. Being an aunty means the world to me and one more reason to keep working hard for the ones I love. I miss you ❤❤ #bless #nephew #1yearold #1yearbaby #family #iloveyou #familyisevrything #imissyou #imisshome #homesick

Yesterday I was lucky enough to meet up with not one, not two, but THREE insta-dates! One of my favourite things about this platform is the ability to collate a likeminded tribe of amazing people for yourself.. if you’re extra specially lucky you might even discover that some are nearby, giving you the opportunity to take the plunge and meet up in person. In the morning the piglets and I met the gorgeous Zoe @mylittlewildlings for brunch.. owing to her little girl Lucy’s exceptionally good behaviour, Zoe also entertained Lola & Lockie while I face-planted an omelette. How she juggles 4 kids day in, day out is utterly beyond my comprehension - such a hero 👏🏼💪🏼 After bath & bed I threw on some purple lippie and ice skated into town to meet Emily (@mama.tot) and Jules (@bunnyhop.kids). It was so much fun to spend an evening with these ladies who are living proof that you absolutely CAN go it alone in business after having children 👩🏼🏭 Although both boutiques have different aesthetics, they are very much in the same channel so it was utterly inspiring to Em & Jules so encouraging and supportive of each other’s businesses 🙌🏼💖 If you’re chatting behind the scenes with some insta-chums, I wholeheartedly encourage you to meet up in the real world if possible.. not only will you give your typing fingers a break, you might end up bagging yourself a shiny new *actual* chum ☺️💓👭👭☕️🍷☕️🍷
Day one: after some grueling hours on a plane and almost no sleep we finally arrived in Edinburgh. We got on the coach and drove out to Loch Lomond (and of course we sang in the Bonnie Bonnie banks). After that we drove back to see Edinburgh Castle. I got to see the Scottish honors and where Kong’s were born. I also learned Mary not only became queen when she was under a year old and ALSO ABDICATED (if you know me you know how I feel about abdications). The view from the castle was absolutely breathe taking. With the time left at the castle and old town that Tori and I had, we broke off for my first LEGAL drink in the U.K. We also went to Edinburgh MC, a church that combined 4 congregations in 2008 and the first organ is from there. The second is from Grey Friar church in Edinburg. We sang for their morning service. I thought it was interesting seeing different denominations versions of services. We sang with their choir and I only wish I’d been in the middle of the room because I hear we sounded amazing. The acoustics in the building were magnificent and one of our very own, Austin, got to play the organ. He’s so impressive on it too, I’ll try to catch a video of it so I can show y’all. Sorry this is a few days late I’ll try to post more to get y’all all caught up!!
